A bit about me…..

An interest in martial arts, complementary medicine, and Eastern philosophy since I was 10 years old progressed naturally to choosing software development as a line of work. I jest, of course, but programming does develop the mind in many ways and also provides a channel for creative energy.

Since starting .NET programming in 2001, I've done work for a number of companies including Investec, Old Mutual, Coronation, Brait, Vodacom and Pam Golding.

My passion for travelling has taken me on incredible trips to India – trekking in the Himalayas, relaxing on the beaches of Kerala, and meditating in private retreats in Darjeeling and Sikkim.

I have also travelled to Taiwan (for Tai Chi competition), Malaysia, many countries in Europe, and lived and studied in the UK.

When not working you will find me practising or teaching Tai Chi, walking in the mountains or on the beach, sitting at one of my favourite cafes, or pondering my next book.
