Basic food, tasty and well cooked but lacking veggies with main course. Amazing, huge, ancient vine.

Had a delicious and very tender neck of mutton. Once I'd scraped off all the tomato sauce that drenched it. Why do some cooks think they need to swamp food in tomato sauce? It can ruin the taste of the meat!

People very friendly. Very tasty meal of mutton. Service a bit slow between starters and main. Also main and dessert.

The lamb chops were delicious and reasonable - the wine was terrible. You have to look past some basic hygiene - the cutlery was filthy and dog poo was being picked up on the lawn right next to us which was not nice.
