About Gadisagar Lake

Built in 1367, this freshwater lake was once Jaisalmer’s only source of water and is fringed with golden sandstone temples and ghats. The beautiful two-storey Tilon ki Ol Gateway topped by an effigy of Krishna stands at the entrance to the lake. It’s a popular spot for picnics, boating and even camel rides.
