About St Pauls Cathedral

St Paul's Cathedral is situated on the highest point in the City of London, the top of Ludgate Hill. The Church of England cathedral was rebuilt in the 17th Century after the Great Fire of London, and is one of the most recognisable landmarks of London.

The dome is one of the highest in the world, and after Liverpool Cathedral, it’s the second largest church in Britain. Significant services have included peace services at the end of the First and Second World Wars; the funerals of Lord Nelson and Sir Winston Churchill; the wedding of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Lady Diana Spencer, and more recently the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II. St Paul's Cathedral holds daily services.
