Watch the sunset spill out onto the terrace then pamper your palate with Golden Calamari Strips dressed in a chilli coriander and mango jam before tucking into the catch of the day grilled and served with lemon butter and a choice of rice, salad, mashed potato or chips or seasonal vegetables. The extensive menu offers platters, meats and poultry, burgers and pastas including vegetarian and salads alongside the most dense and moist Malva pudding smothered with butterscotch sauce and served with cream or ice cream. Housed on the picturesque water edge fronting the old Town Pier, Bertha’s Restaurant will sweep you off into the sunset with delectable food and soul soothing scenery.

From humble beginnings, and after a period of being one of Simon's Town's best kept secrets, Boulders Beach Restaurant has grown to be recognised as one of the top restaurants in the area. Our menu features Pacific Rim Cuisine, by Australian Head Chef Sean Kiely, which he studied during his extensive travels through Asia and across the globe. Complementing the menu are various specials that change on a daily basis, an extensive wine selection chosen by a sophisticated palate and an earthly comfort that won't be ingored.

With a loyal following paying homage to the talents and fare of Cape Pescado, locals gather here paying testament to the great food and superb atmosphere, which is further enhanced by the live music on selected nights. Knowledgeable staff on hand guide diners through the menu to ensure the perfect selection is made with choices ranging from Peri-Peri Chicken Liver pan-fried in a Peri Peri salsa with savoury rice for starters followed by delicious Pescado Prawns pan-fried in Lemon butter and a temptingly bold desert of Chocolate Mousse decadence served with Ice Cream or Cream. This brilliantly social venue makes every diner feel truly welcome. Cafe Pescado is an excellent spot for tasty seafood and a great atmosphere.

The de Beers cold Storage building was designed in 1901 by Francis Edward Massey and build for Cecil John Rhodes in 1902. With its sandstone facade bay windows and rustic looks, the building lends itself to the setting for a romantic upstairs restaurant with views over the yacht harbour and naval dockyard. One of our customers called Captain’s Table the best kept secret in Simon's Town. Well it may have been but it is no longer a secret. Yes we have finally opened Captain's Table upstairs above the Two and Sixpence Tavern. The experience was described as follows: "Enter the pub and ask the bar person to direct you to the Restaurant. Through the swing doors, up the stairs and then enter a completely different world" Captain’s Table is old world in style, where everything was designed to enhance your experience as our guests. The atmosphere upstairs is relaxed with dimmed lighting, candles on the tables and soothing background music. The venue is ideally suited for smaller functions and parties. The restaurant can be divided to allow privacy for smaller groups and can accommodate up to 48 people. The restaurant is open for lunch 12h30 - 14h30 on Fridays to Sundays and for dinner 18h30 – 21h30 Fridays to Wednesdays. The restaurant will be closed on Thursdays except for functions.

Warmed by rich teak and brass fittings, Roaring Forties Floating Functions Restaurant offers something a little different to the discerning diner. With incredible views complimented by original character, dining onboard the forward deck soothes away the day with elegant décor wrapped in navy blue and Long Island striped overlays. Delight in a cooling cocktail taking in the scenery and gently lapping waves before dining or relax on the outside deck with benches and umbrellas enjoying pre-dinner drinks. Roaring Forties Floating Functions Restaurant is the perfect venue for any function looking to embrace an elegant maritime charm.

This lively little restaurant boasts a “If you don’t eat with us, we’ll both starve” slogan that invites humour into this relaxed atmosphere. Located within the scenic poster town of Simon’s Town, Salty Sea Dog Restaurant offers simple food heightened by nautical artefacts and exposed wooden beams for a rustic dining experience. Sucumb to temptation at The Sweetest Thing, the best coffee and patisserie shop in Simon's Town. Choose from a selection of delectable cakes and pastries including cheesecake, lemon meringue and chocolate éclair. The patisserie also offers excellent coffee, breakfast, sandwiches, delicious pies and quiche, all made daily on the premises by Doreen and her friendly team. Doreen Alcock won the Diners Club National 2008 Dine Award for the Most Promising Pastry Chef Newcomer. The Sweetest Thing has been open for two years and is co-owned by Doreen and her husband Keith. Patrons can enjoy a selection of delectable pastries including, cheesecake, lemon meringue and chocolate éclair. The patisserie also offers excellent coffee, breakfast, delicious pies and quiche.

A unique spot with gorgeous views over False Bay, the Tibetan Teahouse is a tranquil place to enjoy cuisine inspired by the beautiful country. Set alongside a gallery and a shop selling collectables, jewellery and artwork from Tibet, this vegan and vegetarian restaurant is a deliciously healthy option for a meal. Organic coffees and herbal teas provide the accompaniment. A truly tranquil place, the Tibetan Teahouse is a superb place to really escape the rat race and refresh the spirit.
