Description

Beach-front House is a lovely self-catering house with beautiful sea and mountain views, situated in Scarborough. There is a large house that sleeps four guests comfortably and a loft apartment that sleeps two additional guests. The two units can be let together or separately. Secure off-road parking is available.

The main house consists of two en-suite bedrooms, a comfortable open-plan living area with DStv, and a fully equipped kitchen. The loft apartment is separate from the main house, positioned above the garage. It has a small living area, a kitchenette, a small shower room and a gallery with a double bed.

Scarborough, which lies just beyond Kommetjie, is one of the few suburbs of Cape Town that remains far from the madding crowds. It is a conservation village with a random scattering of houses and beach homes that lie embedded in the steep mountains of Slangkop and Red Hill, overlooking the thundering Atlantic waves.

The rustic charm of the Scarborough village is further enhanced by the fact that it offers some of the best fishing and surfing on the peninsula. Body boarding, kitesurfing, kayaking, windsurfing and cray fishing are all highly rated, and Scarborough's beach is privy to some of the most awesome sunsets and wonderful windswept walks.

There is one restaurants and a small shop, but it's not very far before you reach Simons Town, Noordhoek and Fish Hoek should you need to stock up on supplies.
