Welcome to our homely styled guest house and self-catering cottages with warm friendly hospitality. We are situated in Muizenberg with its beautiful beaches that stretches as far as you can see or walk. The Vlei lagoon is right on our doorstep, with its Kingfishers pick nick area and water activities.

Blue Canyon Guest House is only a 2 minutes (500m) walk from the beach, waterslides, miniature golf course and playing area on the beach, for children. Museums, art galleries and curios shops are all within easy walking distance.

Guest house rooms consist of twin single or double bed, a honeymoon suite, a deluxe family room and en-suite bathrooms, television, hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Self-catering cottages offer accommodation in two fully equipped self-catering cottages. These cosy cottages sleeps two, comprises out of a double bed, en-suite bathroom, television, dining table and kitchenette; fridge-freezer, microwave, small stove and appropriate kitchen utensils. Both cottages walk out on to the pool and braai patio.

Misleading advertising

All the images on SafariNow is very misleading and the guesthouse does not at all look like on the internet. It was a very unpleasant experience and it seem they only started 'fixing up' the place shortly before our arrival as well as during our stay. The first night we arrived we didn't have water, during the last few nights we realised there were ticks in the cottage. It looked like I hade measels from all the bite marks. The owner and caretaker is very nice but unfortunately people ... more
