We enjoyed our stay in Kommetjie and found GumTree Cottage comfortable and well situated with everything required for a very relaxing holiday. Mike is a great host who made us feel at home.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Gum Tree Cottage. The location is excellent, with good sea views and even a glimpse of Table Mountain. There are a couple of reasonably-priced restaurants within walking distance. The Cottage itself is spacious and extremely well appointed. We loved all the "objets d'art" which gave each room it's own special character. Thank you Mike for being such a perfect host.

We loved the cottage and our stay in Kommetje! Very relaxing atmosphere, beautiful beaches and great weather. We love to come back!...and we will!

We had a fantastic stay at Gum Tree Cottage, Micheal was an excellent host, very helpful & friendly, we had everything we needed for our stay, including extra blankets for the cooler evenings, the area was very quiet and only a stones throw away from the beach. We can highly recommend Gum Tree Cottage.
