Kingfisher Cottage overlooks one of the tranquil waterways of Marina da Gama, part of the Zandvlei Wetlands Nature Reserve, just 1km from the sandy beaches of Muizenberg on the False Bay coastline.

At Kingfisher Cottage you will find peace and quiet, stunning lagoon and mountain views, plentiful birdlife and an opportunity to explore the waterways in our pedalo. Or you can just relax by the swimming pool and soak up the sun!

We are conveniently located close to many wonderful beaches, mountain walks, the trendy shops and restaurants of Kalk Bay, historic Simonstown, the penguins of Boulders Beach and Cape Point.

July to November sees the arrival of the Southern Right Whales and wonderful sightings are possible from Muizenberg and across the whole of False Bay.

The cottage is serviced and there is offstreet secure parking and 24 hr manned security in Marina.

We stayed there for 8 nights. I'm born and raised in Cape Town but never realized how beautiful it really is until you view it from certain angles. From Kingfisher Cottage you have the most beautiful view. It's peaceful. The beach is 10min walk from the cottage. If you're a person who does not like being away from home to long Kingfisher will let you feel like you have a new home. Thank you Ruby and your husband for an awesome stay.

One of the best places we have stayed in South Africa. Very friendly and helpful hosts. If we come back to South Africa we will stay here again. About a half an hour drive to Waterfront. Beaches very close.
