Located only 10 minutes from the city, guests are guaranteed the privacy, tranquility and beauty of the African bush while remaining close to the city. With Mokolodi Nature Reserve on the doorstep, guests can indulge in a variety of activities including game drives, game walks, horse riding and bush braais. At Mokolodi House, you will wake up to the sounds of countless bird species and breakfast can be enjoyed while overlooking the Gaborone Dam. There are also some small game that roam freely on the grounds.

Stunning

My family and I stayed at Mokolodi House and loved it. The accomodation and the scenery were stunning and the service was second to none, nothing was too much trouble. We were worried on arrival having two young children and the place being so tranquil but there was no such problem, we felt the children were just as welcome as we were. We would definitely recommend and would love to return again in the future.

Thank goodness we had booked for 3 nights and not the 2 originally planned. The setting is amazing. It is very peaceful and yet within very easy reach of Gaberone and Mokolodi Game Reserve. The free use of all kitchen facilities, complimentary tea and coffee and availability of an honesty bar made us feel relaxed and 'at home'. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful. Wow. I have lost all words. I enjoyed my stay at Mokolodi House. The place is quiet, safe and the people there are friendly. I will be coming again. The owner is such a darling. I also enjoyed the breakfast and it is just a short walk from the nature reserve. Well done guys.

I don't want to review Mokolodi House, because I want to keep it as my special secret. The place has something magical to it, everything is just beautiful and the service out of this world. Where else will the manageress get up at 05h30 am to serve you breakfast if you need to make an early start for the long road ahead?
