Saile Tented Camp

Description

Saile Tented Camp is in a private reserve, which borders the western boundary of Chobe in the Chobe Enclave. This is an intimate camp with four spacious Meru-style tents, each of which has an en-suite bathroom and bucket shower. The camp is situated on the sands above the ancient river bed of the Linyanti, with the charm of the old romance of Africa.

The Linyanti Swamps are one of the most attractive areas in the park as it is the only source of water in the dry months where a lot of the wildlife moves to, it boasts a great diversity of game and a peaceful atmosphere. The area also offers spectacular birdwatching all year round and is best known for its enormous herds of elephants which move down to the Linyanti river at the start of the winter months and only move back inland once the main rains arrive.

You will enjoy spacious and comfortable tented accommodation in this remote wilderness area. The camp is furnished with bucket showers under the stars. Activities consist of game drives, walking and spot lighting. This safari camp provides the perfect atmosphere for an authentic and wild safari experience.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast before the first game drive and a full brunch on return, as well as afternoon tea and cakes, bar snacks, drinks at sunset, and a three-course dinner under canvas.
