This has to be one of the best spots on the South Coast. Affordable, fully kitted, clean and right on the beach! The owner/manager don't mind loud music at night and were very understanding of our drunken "transgressions"... Didn't see the jacuzzi advertised in the ad, though. Not an issue as the pool and the ocean had us sorted for an amazing weekend. Don't even bother looking further. Book now, because if this place is available, you're lucky.

What an epic weekend with the boys. The accommodation was incredible with clean comfortable rooms, beautiful seaviews & an amazing entertainment area. The host Patrick Vorster was most accomodating and hospitable. I would definetly recommend the Galene beach house to my friends and family.

Lovely location to meet up, allowing each to do their own thing, be it walking the beach, swimming in the sea or visiting the butcher or shops without need for cars. Also recommend the Italian, Casa Mia, on the bridge - excellent Pizza and salads.Loved listening to the evening train thundering through.

The house is right on your own 'private beach' and all you heard was the sound of the waves crashing. Such blissful peace! The outside area is perfect for socializing and everybody was very happy with the rooms. We had an amazing weekend and will definitely recommend it to all our friends.
