Gum Tree Glen is a studio unit set in the blissful ambience of KwaZulu-Natal's Midlands.Just a stone's throw from Curry's Post and 10 minutes from Howick with its abundant shopping and legendary falls, it overlooks the glorious Karkloof Valley. Surrounded by farmlands, trees and fields of green, the guests are accommodated in a queen-sized bed and a sleeper couch. The compact kitchenette is fitted with a stove, fridge and microwave, there is DStv as well as internet access.The area is a haven for wildlife and guests will enjoy sightings of duiker and reedbuck grazing nearby, hear the call of the fish eagles, and if you're lucky, spot porcupine and dassies in the nearby forests.

Golf: The excellent 18-hole Sakabula Golf Course is close by, as is Bosch Hoek Golf Course. Both are top class.

Wedding Venues: Close to all of the top wedding venues in the area, like Old Halliwell and Cranford Country Lodge, for instance.

Family friendly: Enjoy cycling walking in the area, or exploring the Midmar Meander. Close to the Piggly Wiggly and its train rides and zip line or the legendary Karkloof Canopy Tours.

          Sparkingly clean, cosy and everything we needed - fresh milk and eggs as well as rusks and cereals were lovely touches and we would definitely overnight here again if in the area . Friendly owners at hand but discreet - thank you, Jo and Will
