A three bedroom duplex that is within walking distance from the sea. There are two full bathrooms, a kitchen, lounge, double garage and braai facilities, as well as DStv. The duplex is fully furnished and equipped for all of your self-catering needs and includes a fridge, deep freezer; oven and all linen.

This self-catering duplex is let on a daily basis and is located at Langstrand, approximately 15 km from both Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. The Langstrand holiday resort is a 10 minute walk away, with its popular tidal pool, oyster bar, excellent restaurant, snack kiosk and children's playground. The dunes of the Namib and quad biking rentals are nearby. You can go for endless walks on the beach or collect mussels off the rocks for dinner. Popular fishing spots such as Paaltjies, Vierkantklip and sites for crayfishing in season, are nearby. Both activities require a fishing license, available from the Department of Sea Fisheries in Swakopmund.

The duplex comfortably accommodates up to six guests. The dining area has an indoor barbecue for cooking or keeping you cosy on misty nights. The double garage also has a freezer for use to store any fish that you have caught. The kitchen, lounge and dining area is open-plan. The unit is fully furnished complete with a washing machine and tumble drier to ensure a restful break. The kitchen has a breakfast counter and is provided with everything from an electric hob and oven, microwave and all appliances.

All bedding linen and towels are supplied with spare sets. All you will need is your own clothing, food and beach towels. A dual-view digital TV with DStv is provided. TV sets are located in one bedroom and the lounge. In addition, cellular telephone coverage is assured.

The best part of this house is the big double automated garage. And we liked that the bedrooms were upstairs. The kitchen is well stocked with all necessary utensils. It would be nice to have curtains over the blinds in the bedrooms as it gets light very early!
