About Prince Lodge

Prince Lodge is a turn-of-the century Edwardian guest house featuring a cosy courtyard, a spacious, stylish interior and a relaxed atmosphere.

This Cape Town villa projects an ambience of light and space throughout. A personal touch, a creative flair and individual ideas are the qualities that make each room special and unique. Original Oregon pine floorboards and high pressed ceilings add an extra charm to the spacious bedrooms and interior.

Conveniently situated at the foot of Table Mountain, a leisurely walk leads to Cape Town’s vibrant city centre through historical Company Gardens, which houses the Parliament Buildings, the SA Museum, the SA Art Gallery and the Slave Lodge.

A few minutes’ drive takes you to the pristine beaches of Camps Bay or Clifton and the V&A Waterfront, while the Winelands and Cape Point are a scenic 40-minute drive away and Cape Town International Airport is a 20-minute drive away.

I must say that I had an amazing stay. Elke, the owner was so friendly. The lodge is located centrally which makes it extremely easy to get around. Will definitely return in future!!

I had a very comfortable stay at Prince Lodge. It was very central. The room was large and airy with a garden leading off it. The owners were delightful, and very helpful indeed. Lovely Ladies. I would definitely stay there again if I am ever in Cape Town again.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Table Mountain was just a few kilometres away and was clearly visible from the Lodge. Elke the host was friendly. The breakfast was nice. All night life jols(dances) on long market and loop street were close enough to be a cheap uber ride away but far enough to not cause a noise disturbance in the Lodge. Fridge, stove and microwave are in a common shared kitchen, room was spacious en suite.

All was okay for the duration of my stay at Prince Lodge. I can recommend it depending on peoples tastes.
