About Red Mountain House

The TGCSA 4 Star Red Mountain House is situated in the heart of the beautiful village of Clarens and overlooks the village green.

Opened in 2003 the Red Mountain House complex has become a familiar and much-loved Clarens landmark.

Accommodation is located on the first floor of the complex. Rooms are accessed by a shared balcony, the ideal place to sit and admire the views of the surrounding mountains or watch the activity on the village square, whilst enjoying your morning coffee or afternoon sundowner. All rooms come with DStv, free WiFi and mini bar fridges for your convenience.

Enjoy an in-house shopping experience at Something Else, where a wide range, gifts, branded clothing, shoes, are on sale. Alternatively, relax in Vito's Restaurant and bar, a convenient on-site facility.

          My wife and i spent a long weekend at Red Mountain House. The rooms are spacious and clean and very comfy. Besides the fire place, the under floor heating, heated bathroom and the huge four poster bed there are the little creature comforts that make your experience more satisfying like the sherry and chocolates by the fire place and the little blankets left folded on the chairs to keep you just that little warmer while you snuggle up by the fire sipping on your sherry.Thank you for a lovely weekendCraig and Jo-Anne Varner
