About St Lucia Wilds
Set in a relaxing tranquil garden with large trees and lots of plants we have three conjoined cottage style units. The establishment is in the main street on the lake side away from town noise but close enough to walk to shops and restaurants. Property and original house dates in the early 1900's.
Our cottages offers standard, very well equipped, neat and tidy, homely, relaxed styled accommodation. Furniture and fittings are mix of old and new and hand made craft. Brick wall inside and out, high pine ceilings, tiled floors and carpeted bedrooms. One joined wall between units with a bathroom and very well equipped kitchen. Television with DSTV free channels only (bring own decoder+card+cable) ). Each has own semi private garden area with braai and garden furniture, separated by plants. All opening windows and doors have insect netting. No lake views.
These are family cottages with one or two bedrooms, one bathroom (shower basin toilet bath) per unit and an open plan kitchen dining lounge area with two single beds. A backdoor and glass patio doors at own garden area. We provide bath towels, kitchen towel and swab, dish liquid and sponge and coffee plunger all cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and pots pans, clothes line and pegs, toaster, kettle, microwave and stove with oven and fridge.
Parking is on site, under roof cover for one vehicle per unit. Once daily cleaning service is included. The communal path leads the way to the swimming pool and garden to lake area. The laid back garden attracts an abundance of birds and is regularly visited by Vervet monkey, Banded mongoose, Red Duiker, Bushbuck and sometime hippo grazing at night and more. Enjoy the sunset view (especially in winter) or relax under the tree on a lounger.
This location is ideal for birders and nature lovers and serious eco-tourists/enthusiasts. Owner family lives on site and gives lots of info on arrival. Self drive or guided reserves and walks close by, other activities around town and big 5 park within one hours drive.
Family friendly: Tree house platform with a slide ladder, small table, chairs and toys. Swimming pool fenced NOT child proof. Trails ok for children cycle and walk.

11. Fireworks, crackers of any kind forbidden in town and on site.
12 Drunken, loud, unruly behaviour will not be tolerated.
13. We do not supply meals, food, toiletries, wood or charcoal or laundry facilities on site.
• Wild animals etc. live around us and share our living space.
• Children 0-12 are part of the max persons per unit and does not stay free automatically, no extra beds or mattresses.
• Kindly advise of late arrival after 6pm and before 9pm as the reception closes. ( No early arrival as we need sufficient time to clean before 1pm)
• Kindly advise of early departure before 8 am for deposit refund arrangements. Latest departure time is 10 am. Reception opens at 8am.
Bring own: toiletries, food, insect repellent, sun protection, swimming towels, wood/charcoal, emergency light/torch, drinking water, (optional bring own dvd player) and decoder plus card should you wish to have your own DSTV channel selection.
