We were friendly welcomed at the guesthouse. Our rooms was neat, clean and inviting. The aircon in the room helped a lot after our hot journey. We had a special breakfast before we left the next morning. We were each treated with a Christmas gift at the breakfast table. Thank you for a memorable stay at the Old Watchmakers Guesthouse.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly return if we are in the vicinity again. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable and the food excellent. We appreciated the safe parking which meant that we did not have to un pack the car for the night. Bethulie is an interesting place too if you are interested in Anglo-Boer War history. And if you are interested in engineering, some amazing bridges nearby, one dating back to 1889.

What a charming old house, giving us a real taste of what life must have been like long before we were born. And the friendly and helpful people made us feel so at home. Not to mention the generous catering - we've never seen anything like it. In all, a fabulous stay.
