About Agra Fort
Eclipsed by the Taj Mahal in beauty but spectacular nonetheless, Agra Fort is one of India’s greatest Mughal forts. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was built in 1565 from red sandstone on the shores of the Yamuna River. Later additions included a white marble palace by Shah Jahan, patron of the Taj Mahal.
