Boardwalk Lodge is 15 minutes’ drive from George Airport, 5 minutes’ walk from the town of Wilderness and Milkwood Village’s shops and 40 to 50 minutes’ drive from major tourism hubs.

Hubs of the Garden Route are Mossel Bay, Oudtshoorn, Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, Victoria Bay and Sedgefield and are close to several championship golf courses on the Garden Route such as Fancourt, George Golf Club, Oubaai Golf Resort, Pezula Golf and Country Club and many more. There are many activities in the area such as fishing, hiking, sailing, abseiling, paragliding, birdwatching, dolphin and whale watching, mountain biking, 4x4 trails, and kloofing.
