Right on the beach with accommodation to suit all budgets, this is the hub for day tours, accommodated safaris and 4WD adventures. It's an easy drive up famous Seventy-Five Mile Beach to see the mighty sand blows, coloured sands, Eli Creek spilling into the ocean, the Maheno shipwreck, Indian Head and the Champagne Pools. Close by are the rainforests around Pile Valley and Central Station and beautiful, fresh-water lakes with white sandy beaches, which include McKenzie, Birrabeen and Wabby.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Please note Eurong Beach Resort is only accessible by 4WD vehicles. A vehicle access permit is required for all vehicles coming onto Fraser Island. These can be purchased from the Ticket Hut at River Heads or from the Shell Service Station, Rainbow Beach. Guests without their own 4WD vehicles, are required to hire one before arrival at the resort.
The island can be accessed by vehicle barges that operate daily from River Heads, south of Hervey Bay, to Wanggoolba Creek. If arriving via River Heads, you must book a space on the vehicle barge ferry in advance.
From the Sunshine Coast via Rainbow Beach, the Rainbow Venture barge is on demand between Inskip Point and Hook Point between 07:00 and 17:00 and bookings are not required.
