Masibambane Guest House is a thatched guest house situated on the outskirts of Rustenburg on the R24, in tranquil country surroundings. There is a beautiful garden with abundant bird life to enjoy.

We offer 9 tastefully furnished en-suite bedrooms with TVs, tea and coffee facilities, heaters or fans. We also provide laundry facilities. There is a lovely pool and a sunny lapa that guests may use and enjoy during the summer season. We also have a very well-equipped conference centre, accommodating a maximum of 30 people.

We serve hearty English breakfasts with old-fashioned hospitality. Other activities in and around Rustenburg include horse riding, golf, minigolf, hiking, canoeing, game walks, game drives, birdwatching, a driving range, mountain biking, rock climbing, caves, and 4x4 trails.

Golf: There are many Golf courses in and around Rustenburg.

Family friendly: we have a small safe pool for family braai.. Our garden is large and a safe place for children to play and families to have a picnic

The guest house had very old furniture, the bedding was old, one of the side lamps were broken. Breakfast was very basic, there was no menu to view options from.

Our request was for self catering. A room with a double bed, TV, bar fridge, microwave and cofee and only a bathroom is not self catering. No place to prepare food or wash dishes. The fridge was dirty and had mould in it. The vegetable draw was full of water which I had to throw out. The garden was very nice and it was a very quiet environment. The facility was defnitly not on standard. I even took photos of the fridge. Please do not advertise this as a selfcatering guesthouse as more people will be unhappy and it is misleading. I have known Gwen and Masibambane for many years, so for me the choice of B&B was easy. Always a great welcome, neat, tidy, comfy rooms situated in the most beautiful gardens. A swimming pool to sooth ones body in the heat.Close enough to Rustenburg and the Mall. Plus easy access to the N4, heading either to Pretoria or the other way to the Botswana border.
