The motel is located about 15 mins from the centre of Canberra city and most of its attractions like the Parliament House old Parliament House National Museum War Memorial Telstra Tower Cockington Green and the many other attractions of Canberra. The annual Floriade flower show is just 10 minutes from the motel. The Parkway Motel is ideally located as a halfway stop from most locations to the Snow fields which is some 2 hours drive from here. The South Coast is hour and half away.The motel staff can help with making arrangements for bus tours of Canberra as well as the locations of the attractions and the best times to visit these.
