Point

Durban’s Point sits at the entrance to Africa’s busiest seaport, and is currently among the city’s most prestigious addresses. The uShaka Marine World is currently the main attraction of Point, and is the first step in revitalising the area. This process involved designing a system of canals to return the water from the marine world to the sea, and consequently turned most of the Point area into an extended theme park and amazing tourist attraction.

There are so many beaches in and around Point and at least one of them will have what you are looking for, whether you want to swim, surf or just relax in the sun. There are also surf schools nearby where you can learn or more challenging waves if you're a veteran. Point features a huge variety of restaurants to cater for everyone’s tastes.
