Margate Holiday Home is a two-bedroom self-catering apartment, situated in the secure, popular Chesapeake Bay complex in the coastal town of Margate. The complex is set on the beachfront, just metres from the beach and rock pools, as well as bring within an easy driving distance from various restaurants, shops and entertainment facilities.

This apartment can accommodate up to four guests and comprises two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and an open-plan lounge and dining area. The main bedroom contains a double bed, a TV, and a shower en suite. This room leads through glass sliding doors to a patio area. The second bedroom contains a double bed. The second bathroom contains a bath.

The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering and includes a stove and oven, a fridge-freezer. The comfortable lounge features a TV with DStv capability, should you wish to bring your own decoder and smart card. The lounge leads onto a balcony with patio furniture, braai facilities, and sea views.

The Chesapeake Bay complex has a swimming pool, tennis courts, and walkway steps leading to the beach. Shaded parking is provided.

Important Information

No smoking is permitted inside the apartment. Guests need to bring their own DStv decoder and smart card. A once-off cleaning fee of R380.00 will be required on or before arrival.

There is also a breakage deposit fee of R500. The fee is refundable provided that the place is in the same condition that it was upon check-in.

Everything is so nice, close to everything... walking distance. The parking space is bit small for 2 big vehicles next to each other. (Double cab). The stay was amazing. Will visit again.

The main bedroom had a leak in the ceiling which made the room unusable. The sliding door in the main bedroom seeped in water resulting in the curtains and bedding being drenched in water. The utensils in the kitchen were minimalistic and the pots were in an unappealing condition. I was quite disturbed in my stay at this venue as the price I paid for the accomodation led me to believe this was going to be an enjoyable and pleasurable holiday. The television in the lounge is old and outdated. Quite disappointing.
